Welcome Message from the School Princpal

To everyone who visits our website, the School Community would like to say “Khanimambo”. This means thank you in Xitsonga, a language that is spoken in parts of South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Swaziland. It is our wish to see this site visited by many people both locally and globally as this will enable the school to grow from strength to strength.

It is of the utmost importance to mention that the idea of creating a website was conceived by two of our recent alumni, namely Ntwanano Makhuvele and Nhlahla Mathye. All of us here at Mahatlani-Wayeni Secondary School would therefore like to extend our sincere gratitude to the two for not forgetting their roots.

We also welcome all contributions and constructive criticism from interested parties and our alumni in particular. Let us work together to Make our institution one of the best. Let us remember to practise what our motto preaches as it states that “We strive for the best”.
